Yes! Sometimes experimenting works, other times we just don't mention it! I talked to a guy taking out when we were. Said he only caught a few small ones, pulling cranks. He remarked that he was going to go back to his jig poles. I have nothing against trolling, I really want to learn more techniques. I am too hyper to troll, and when I try it's usually a half hearted attempt, I don't do well, and then I'm back to single poling.
