FB & I headed out early this AM. Conditions were windy and there were a lot of other folks out there, but, like they say - you go when you can.
We trolled for about an hour through a lot of structure. Tons of stuff out there, too much to even fit in the box. We did have pretty fair success, ran into a couple of pros that steered us in the right direction and put us onto some hot spots.
I came away with a couple of new rod holders, FB scored a scale & a bait box.
We also found a secret hole they didn't tell us about. It was loaded with fish, but bound by so much debris there was absolutely no way to get to them. Maybe next time. . .
Temperature 72.
I would recommend this site to anyone with the exception they do charge a pretty stiff usage fee, so be prepared. The fact you can participate without your own boat does balance it out somewhat though.![]()
Hey....I was out there that day too. I picked up a couple of those new Zebco slabseeker spinning reels. Figured they might come in handy while trolling. What type of rod holders did you pick up?
Fish on!:D

Just a Scotty mount and a couple of built-in PVC holders to go on the kayak -- I've got to get out there before Baditude sneaks up on all the slabs!
