Only caught 20 today but had three really nice blacks. One was 15", one 14.5" and one 13". Wind was not what I had hoped for(I'm gonna buy the weather service a compass) but had a good time any way. Did anyone else put a hurtin' on them today?
IwishIdid, I'm thinking bout going to the Foot myself, can to tell me where you caught your fish without giving up your honey hole?![]()

I didn't make the drive down to Reelfoot today. I was going to up until late last night when I saw the forcast and decided that it looked like it might be too windy. So I saved the gas money and drove to the local lake. Got blown off the lake by about 9:30, w/o catching a fish. I'm beginning to wonder if I should put up the poles until March!!!
I fished Airpark again. The duck huntin' is starting to slow down a little or so it seems, opening up a little more water. I just take my map and pick out a half-assed place to drift according to the wind up there. Today they were all 6-8 foot of water about 4-6 deep. The Lower lake seems to be seeing alot of pressure this is the only reason I keep going to airpark. Plenty of good ones there too on the south end. Probably hit it hard next week if this rain will get gone. Need to be working on my house !?!??!

Have you ever tried driftsocks. I have a deep boat and they keep me out longer when everyone else is going home or drifting to fast.
