    Default TWRA Rescue

Too damn funny not to pass along... myself and a buddy fished JPP today around the fall creek area. We boated around 40 - 45 crappie with only 9 keepers , all of which came from a gravel bank - Pretty uneventful day until we see this guy walking the bluff towards us...turns out 2 wardens were out setting stakebeds and planting cypress in the area and the idiots forgot to anchor their boat ! Several other fisherman had passed the unmanned vessel without a second look which is what prompted him to make the long journey towards us. We had not seen them beach the boat , but he had spotted us and knew we were anchored. We did the nice thing and gave him a lift to the craft, after all , too many people out there don't realize what they do to enhance our favorite fishing spots. I still think it to be quite funny that neither of the conservation officers remembered to anchor the boat especially with the wind as gusty as it was. He even admitted to how embarrassed he was to ask a couple fisherman for help.

It sucks when you do that. Especially in the winter when its too cold to swim to. Buddy of mine's dog jumped in his duck boat as he was parking the truck one day and did that to him. He had to get his dad to bring his bass boat from his house. Plus the dog was in the boat. Luckily he lived less than 10 minutes from the ramp.
Ya ain't holdin' your mouth right.
