Thread: Cherokee 12/30

Those of you that thought about going to Cherokee on Saturday didn't miss anything. Sounds like Douglas was the place to be. Fished from 8:00am to 1:00, caught a gill and a small bass. Don't know if weather had anything to do with it. May have just been fishing all wrong.

i fished cherokee saturday just had 4 keepers and a a couple dinks
don'tknow what the problem was the water temp had dropped about 6 degrees from the last time i went. also it was a little breezy

Water level is coming up to much on Douglas, got them all messed up.

I caught 4 keepers yesterday. That's a drastict change from the week before last and last week. The bite is slow and light. I gonna wait a bit before heading back.

Yeah the bite is light for sure. Think I will wait till Saturday to go back sinse I am back to work:D

The way Douglas is coming up, it may be full pool by then:D
