Hey you fellas that fish Douglas/Cherokee...
...was just wondering...did any of ya'll put out your own fish attractors on your "honey holes", or did you just scout until you found the hotspots? I'm constructing several to drop into Norris this winter during the drawdown...

I know creating structure is a good thing, but when I was a kid back in the 60's and early 70's we consistently caught all kinds of fish in this one cove in the Muddy Creek (Douglas Lake) area, several years later people started to dump all kinds of trees, etc., all around the place and for that one spot it actually made the fishing worse from that point on, as far as the day fishing went.

Bushrod, I usualy fish holes that I find or get told by word of mouth were is at. I have myself been kicking around the idea of building some of the PVC attractors and marking them with my gps and trying them but haven't yet. My father told me this weekend as we were fishing that when he was younger that there wasn't any man made attractors on Cherokee that you could catch crappie by the dozens just on a rock bank. Seems like overs the years the man made structures have changed thier habits.
