Thread: Reel problem

Three weeks ago i went to bass pro shops and bought a brand new diawa sumuria 2500 series reel with ABS and Infinite anti reverse when i bought it it was the smoothest and quietest reel i had ever had but last night it starts making a clicking sound like the older reels did yet when i turn the anti reverse off it reels smooth and quiet like it did has anyone else had this problem or should i just take it back to BPS?

Take it back and get a Shimano Sedona 1500 , you wont regret it.

Forget the Sedona. Get the Shimano Sahara.

I originally bought the Sedona at BassPro, but it broke the first time I fished with it. Took it back, spent another $10, and have had my Sahara 2500 now for 2.5 years with no problems.

The Sedona's are a great reel, guess you just happened to get a dud.
I did buy one last year that wasnt as smooth as my other ones, so I took it back to BPS and swapped, no other problems with any.
My dad uses the Sahara's and IMO, the Sedonas are as good, and you save $10:D

ok i had actully bough it 41 days ago but they exanged it no problems so BPS is a deffinate good store in my book
