center hill at night
hey guys,I am new to the site and the sport and I as wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on what what area of the lake I should be fishing with the submersible lights. If anyone has any suggestion on where to fish or what kind of areas to look for. It would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Big A
I also live in Cookeville been back home going on two years spent the sixteen years before coming home in Reno,Nv. I haven't night fished Center Hill in twenty years do all my night fishing on Dale Hollow. I think the first place that I would try would be around the bridge supports at Hurricane Bridge. Second choice would be in Mine Lick creek.

I was told by a Tenn F&W officer, that Center Hill is very clear water and little visable cover .... and finding the man made brushpiles is primary to finding Crappie. You might also try "shooting docks", during the day.
I know Center Hill is in your "back yard" .... but, have you ever fished Watts Bar ?? You're about 1.5hrs to the NW of it. If you ever pick up the habit of "shooting docks", and like doing it, then Watts Bar is a dock shooters lake. Best periods are Mar/Apr & Oct/Nov. .........luck2ya ...... cp
And Welcome to Crappie.com !!
