    Default Douglas?

Will be in the Lake Douglas area for a week around Labor Day. Any suggestions on a good starting point for crappie at this time of year (day or night)? It will be my first trip to this lake, so landings, major creeks, and any other advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!

    Thumbs up

Try fishing Flat Creek...across from the gravel banks just off Millican Grove launch ramp near saddle dam number 9...stay to the right side of the creek, in the main channel, trolling chartreus grubs or Bandit 300 crankbaits (pearl/chartreus) at dawn or dusk...I've had good luck there when I lived near Douglas...now I fish Norris Lake...

    Default Douglas Fall fishing

I would launch at the Dandrige ramp and then go down the lake to point 8 and fish the left side as you are looking in from the main lake. Alway used to catch fish there that time of year. Fantastic spot for bass too.

    Good luck!
