    Default Priest 7/12/06

Went out this morning and got 14 before the wind blew me off the lake. Fished from atout 5:30A to 9:00A. No big concentration of fish but would get a few from each spot. Primarily single poling, tightlining a minnow around 14 feet deep over 16 to 17 feet of water.

what type of structure were you fishing?
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Brush piles (natural), usually on the west side of the little island out from 4 corners boat dock.

I have been out of commission. One of my nine year old twins broke his leg last week. Still busy with the hail damage work.
Have you ever tried a driftsock for those windy days that are just too much, but not enough to go in? I use one and love it for drifting flats.

Sorry to hear about your sons leg, hope it mends soon. I have never tried a wind sock, have read about them but never used one. May have to give it a try. Went out this morning, 7/17 and only got four. They must have moved deeper, but I have not found them yet. I have one favorite brush pile that I usually start the morning on each trip and when I got out this morning at 5:30 A, another fisherman was on it. Oh well, I guess that is the reason to have several spots.

Hope to see you on the lake.

Still haven't had time to go. I have been asked to fish a loose tuesday night bass tourny with some friends and customers. I know this is btter than playing golf. Finally they want to play a game I like to play. Any bass spots in the mid portion anyone wants to share would be appreciated.
