Thread: Douglas last night 7-8

Finally got the boat rigged for lights so my Uncle and I head out about 7. Caught a monster Crappie at dark and thought it was goin to be a good night. Turns out that was the only one. Dang stripes moved in and after catching about 25 and retying hooks and untangling lines, we got out of there...........or so we thought.

I have been having a little trouble with my cranking battery, so last night it decided to act up again. A good fellow fisherman lent me his trolling battery to jump start the engine.

I did hang a whale of a cat. I wrestled with it for several minutes. Reel in 2 feet, he take 5 out. Finally broke the line. Never got to see it, but it had to be a whopper.

them stripe aint much fun while crappie fishing are they if you have
a weak battery it will show up night fishing

.......nope no fun while crappie fishing! I guess when I go bass fishin Im gonna pretend Im crappie fishin so I can catch bass:D

Hey sinkum, talked to a guy out there that night. He said he caught 30-40 bucketmouths the other night. I know where, ya wanna go:D
