I got my rear end spanked. I threw crickets everywhere I could throw them. Grass, pads, logs, stumps, trees, knees, you name it. I even threw handfulls out to watch them swim to safety. I couldn't buy a bluegill in 2 days. When a cricket swims around and nothing gets it, somethings bad.
I punted a day early and came home to Priest.
Caught 2 over lights at Poole Knobs and 7 or 8 at 4 corners. Chad tied up with what we thought was a big smallmouth for over 5 minutes, tore up 5 rigs before I could get them out of the water. Never saw the fish but he made 7 or 8 good runs. Broke off under the marina.
I wonder what this cool weather will do for us this weekend?
