Some good eatin there Sinkum. Sorry I couldnt help you drag all those in:D
Your black nose have a much wider black strip than the ones we catch. Nice catch. Chub
Sinkum, where in the world or should I say where on Douglas did you catch all of those crappie. I have been up on Muddy creek, Flat creek and everywhere in between. Have one great graph and show plenty of fish, but have been skunked every time. Have used minnows, maybe that's my problem. My Dad always said to hook the minnows through the eyes, but they don't last very long. Lord, I'd give my right arm just to end up for four or five on a good night. Any advice you can give would sure be appreciated!![]()

we are fishing in the main river channel on steep points in 30-40
ft of water with plain hook an minner some nights you catch them
some nights you dont
try hooking minnow thru the tail will live longer
like sinkum says creek channer or river channel
edge is the key

Really confused on this one. Some people say use a #6 bronze bait hook. Some say use #6 gold plain shank hook and others say #6 red-blood hook. Some say say fish are more likely to hit the red better. What do you think? With so many types out there, could cause a man to start drinking and just take a guess!![]()
