    Default Tellico ... 11/06/ 09

    Fished the Fort Creek area again. We had 23 keepers and about 20 short fish. Fished flies (no minnows) under a float 12-14 ft. deep in 22 ft. deep water. Water was 62 degrees. The fish absolutely shut down and laid on the bottom around 11:30.

    Sounds like you caught them during the morning feed as they shut down on you around 1130. I had the same happen to me the other day. I was following tons of baitfish, but they got lock jaw around noonish.
