My brother and I went today and had 22. We started at daylight and quit around 1. Didn't get a bite after 9 or so. Caught fish in the 25 to 30 ft range, using a 1/8 fly. Fished mud mostly. To help out a little bit, the bite comes in that depth. I try to find some kind of drop off whether its on a hump, ledge or the side of a point. They seem to like them type of places around this time of year. Water was 62 to 64. I asked a guy at the ramp and he said 62.

Hey booger, put in at Shady Grove. I talked with another guy he had 24. He was using a 1/8 leadhead with a pearl white grub, fishing 25 ft or more. Hope you been getting along well.

That's the most black crappie I've seen caught at one time on Douglas.
I hear that is what TWRA is stocking now.
