Has anybody fished Reelfoot in the last few days? I would like to give it a try Thurs, Fri and Sat. Thanks if you can help!

Bite was slow. Fished 3 1/2 hrs had 12 keeper all around 10-12 inches. But had two fish go 14" and 13" inches.

In fact the 13" inch fish had the bottom hook and the top hook both in his mouth.

This morning would have been good in the drizzle with little wind. Good luck to anyone who fishes the next couple days. Looks like unsavory weather.

I cancelled my trip. I called a friend of mine (K Norris), he did not give a good report either. Thanks for your help anyway. I may wait till mid Nov.

Default kiwanis park fishing & KIDS EVENT TOMMORROW

I fished again for 1.5 hours on Tuesday morning at Kiwanis park. Perfect conditions, except for the limited cooperation of my pescatorial prey.

May go for a couple hours tommorrow morning if my wife doesn't whimper too much. She has been gone for a week and mentioned this morning that I should stay and hang out with her. Kind of wait and see now.

Hey everyone, we are having a Fall Fun Day at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on KY 94 a couple of miles out of Fulton, Ky beginning at 3:00 tommorrow. There will be games, petting zoo animals, inflatables, bible characters, hot dogs and chili and a campfire. Bring your kids. Its one of our biggest events of the year. Just give me a call if you need directions. 270-627-0184

    Default Great Day

Our Kids Fall Fun Day was a blast. We had 81 kids and about 30 adults. I will post the picture of me in full John the Baptist attire running the bump-n-jump obstacle course if I can get it today. It was a blessing.

Fishing, on the other hand, earlier in the morning was not so productive. If this keeps up, I may just have to lighten up my gear and learn to tightline!!!
Yesterday on Reelfoot, the Cracker was King.
798 is now up and running, fish beware, I just have to learn how to use it.

    Glad yall had fun!!

Cracker did good yesterday and according to sources nobody is catching fish. I did pretty good today fished a few hours midday and caught 30-40 and kept 15 good fish. Still have not boated a fish over 1.25 lbs this fall..............

I have been trolling jigs moving fast and that has kept me with a good mess every time I go out. Tricky due to the stumps but I think i got this fast troll down pat at Reelfoot as I have yet to lose a rig doing this and it has produced fish on days when nobody else seems to be catching them.

    Default jig action

Have watched that fast jig trolling from some top notch fishermen, including a few who post on here but I have never really done it much. Got a bunch of nice tied jigs this spring and plan to try it.
