    Default Rain Rain-

Go away. The Hiwassee River looks like iced tea. If it stops tomm it will be weeks before it clears up. Then the cold weather hits and water temps will go from 75 to 45 and no crappie-time. Just the opposite as this spring.

Yep, I'm wondering how long it'll take the Tennessee River to clear up. Got a fishing trip planned at Ky Lake in mid-October. Hoping its close to normal by then.

I fished for crappie for many years in the StJohns in florida . Its very heavily stained from the tanic acid coming out of the swamps. Somehow the crappie
    find the jigs or minnows.

Flash flood warnings for tonight, rain forecast all week. It's already rained a week solid, but fortunately we haven't had the flooding Georgia has.
