Default Me and My Niece in Georgia

I went to Georgia this week to visit my family and to spend some time with my fishing and squirrel hunting sidekick, Kenzie. She's my 8 year old niece and she's one bad woman with a fishing pole in her hand. I wanted to show off her first-ever shellcracker. She was a little concerned about me putting my finger in his mouth for the picture. To her relief, he mercifully spared my finger . We got into them pretty good, but we turned them all loose.

I didn't pull my boat down there so I had to do a little lookin to find a suitable spot on the bank. Thankfully, I found a spot with all kinds of sunken trees as you can see in the picture. I could not have created a better fishing spot for gills and crackers (there were shells scattered all over the sandy bank) and could have not asked for a better afternoon to spend with my mom and niece doing a little bank fishing.

On a side note, I included a picture of my brand spankin new BowTech Guardian. I am so excited about it I had to show it off to yall. The picture is of me getting a lesson on how to shoot it from Kenzie. I'm gonna get her into deer stickin' when she old enough to draw a bow. I already have one for her .

Good looking niece. Does not mind messy fish or mud. Teaching you how to shoot that nice bow. She is ready now. Good pictures.
