Maybe I am the last one to see or hear about this, but here ya go anyway. Part of this new Navy ship (USS New York) was actually cast from scrap iron from the World Trade Center. I checked it on snopes and it appears to be 100% ligit. I think I see some rod holders on the back there somewhere . I'll bet it has side Scan too! All kidding aside, seeing this gave me a great sense of American Pride. If they asked my old fat butt to get on that ship and go defend her today, I'd do it in a "New York" minute..
