Default Kentucky Lake

Anyone have any reports from around buchanan or big sandy area. I am heading up there tomorrow for the lbl hunt. We were going to try to do some fishing while we were up there. Any certain depth we ought to try? Has anyone been doing any good. Havent been up that way in a while.

Default Kentucky Lake

I fished last Thursday and by 11:00am we had 33 keepers. We went again Sat. morning and caught 19 keepers before 10 am. The fish were really hitting good. I looked at Mcadams site before I went. Deep water didn't work for me or another guy I talked to on Sat. Morning. He spent most of the morning up around the powerlines and had zero. I caught most of my fish in 7 to 10 ft of water. I was mainly fishing brush piles. Take it for what its worth fish slow and get on the water early so you want have to battle the recreation boaters Good Luck

I couldn't buy a bite in deep water last Sat/Sunday. Caught most in 12 ft. deep in brush. Only on minners. Ky rigged.

Good luck

We fished Big Sandy sat. Slow for us also, Ended up with 6 keepers and lost a couple at the boat. Fished from 10'- 18' .
The 12'- 14' seemed to be the best that day. Talked another fella that had fished around Country Junction, He caught 5 fish from about 8'- 10' of water
