Default Fish Tagging

Wondering if any of you guys have ever tagged or thought about tagging crappie that you release and seeing if you catch them later and recording size, weight ect.

Nope. I have neither the time nor the competence to attempt a tagging, data gathering, and tracking program. The TWRA will send you a load of data if you call them. Just call them and find the manager of the lake/river you're interested in and they'll send you stocking info, catch rates, planned catch, shock count data, and a thousand other metrics they use to measure the spawn and travel of fish in Tennessee rivers and lakes.

On the other hand, if you do decide to take this on as a personal project you may want to check it out with the TWRA first to make sure it's okay.
