One of the guys I work with were talking about doin the Caney around Christmas when we both have time off. I drive for a livin and cross it all the time, and it calls to me. Nice trout, sounds like you had fun.

I lve in west tennessee and have always heard of trout fishing there. Usually go to Arkansas but would like to try it there. Can you point me out to some decent locations and directions? Not your Honey Holes but some decent fishing since I will be driving and spending the night. Thanks fro your help>

slabhead u can get off at the center hill exit and go a few miles and there will be a store at a 3 way turn right go a half to 1 mile turn right again u cant miss it signs everywhere go to the end of that and theres a parking lot .either follow the road below the parking lot or follow the gravel path till it ends both good spots and full of trout.u can keep anysize rainbows but browns have to be 18 inches long.u are allowed 7 fish and only two can be browns.as for bait green giant whole kernel corn is good but use only small gold hooks with a splitshot on the bottom also flies, and yellow or pink rooster tails or panther martins good luck and if u have anymore questions let me know
