Has anyone caught any crappie @ Woods lately?,or has it been too hot?

Been Gettin A Few (seven Yesterday) Out Of 18 To 24 Ft Of Water, Fish Were 12 To 16 Ft Down. Using Small Jigs At A Slow Troll. Bite Has Been Slow Lately.

g'mornin Fishawk. went 2 wks ago and it is real slow. goin with my brother tomorrow. might even post a few pics if'n we get lucky.

Hey Skeet, Just got back from woods a little while ago. Didn't see ya on the north end. Couldn't take the heat any longer, no breeze at all and hot as hell! Cleaned 6 good ones.

I went to several places and found them to be slow. Caught 5 to swim in the crisco and chased the bluegill which cooperated real well. Went up by the dam, too close, and was promptly run off. After we caught 20 good gills there. All the gill are still swimmin. Likin the weather forecast this mornin- soon but not soon enough. See ya soon.

You guys are making me jealous. Cooler weather should bring some relief and some fuel through my Merc. I have a class reunion this weekend and then skeet I will be a calling for some fishin' fun!
