I'm Sure It Will Work, just Looks Like Alot Of Trouble, and I Think Your Hooks Will Get Hung Up On The Planks.i Make Mine Out Of Cane That Grows Along Side Creeks.i Cut It And Bundle 8 To 12 Stalks Up Together, then Put That In A 8" Cinder Block With Quikrete Let Set Up Over Night, drop It In The Water The Next Evening.you Can Make It Up To 20 Ft. Tall If You Find Cane That Tall.i Make Mine Between 8 And 10 At The Tallest.depends On Water Depth You Plan To Drop It In.

They look awesome. As long as one block is enough to sink them. let us know how they work.

Looks nice and should catch fish, but I very much so seriously doubt that you have enough weight there to keep it down. That wood has tons of air in it and you will need at least 2 blocks and maybe fill em with quick crete to keep it down.
