Has anyone fished Beaver Lake in Arkansas? I'll be heading there in May and was wondering if you had any suggestions for hooking a striper or two.

This lake is loaded with impressive stripers, what do you need to know? I would HIGHLY recommend a guided service your first time on Beaver Lake, you might realize that it's easier (sometimes more inexpensive too, just to pay for a guide and have them put you on the fish....)-----I would have to suggest you use Big 1's Striper Guide Service, w/ Johnny Glantz....if you do use one that is. Yeah, we'll be using a guide service for one of the days and then we'll fish on our own for the other couple. I can't remember which guide service we're using though. My brother's arranging that...

We'll be heading down towards the end of May. Is that a good time for numbers of fish or the bigger ones? Both?
