Thread: Good Deal?

I went to a swap meet today and picked up a Ugly Stick combo for $5. I know Rango thinks this is a good deal, but what about the rest of you? Did I pay $4 too much?:D

Ugly sticks are good for thugs. When it comes to crappie I like a nice pretty high class pole so the poor crappie wont be embarassed by the ugly stick. What would his friends say. Besides when you take a picture of your big Kahuna Crappie would you want that ugly stick be seen. :D

through on some 6lb cast it, and pull it!!

I would take a $5.00 ugly over some fancy High class pole anyday!!!!!!!!! At least when you hook a big one it will not break!!!!!!!!!

crappie love being caught by ugly sticks, as evidenced by all the full coolers brought home by those using em....:D
