Lake Greenwood today..Water temp was 59-61 depending on location. It was sunny in the afternoon partly cloudy during the morning. The wind was from the northeast fairly strong but calmed at sunset.Water is moderately stained but clearing every day.Did not see as much debris as I have earlier.
As far as fishing goes.I fished Tuesday and Wednesday without a fish. But did see some people with great catches. After observing them and reading this board(thanks for the Greenwood advice) I finally caught 7 crappie this evening. That is enough for fried fish and the missus is delighted. No more canned tuna for a while!!!As was suggested all were caught casting a jig towards the shore. One was 15 inches long(I thought it was a carp at first) and that is my personal best.
I hope everyone has a most blessed day.
Thanks for the report! I really appreciate them all.

this has been a year for PB's for a lot of people. congrats on yours. be careful eating too much fish. one morning youll wake up and your pants wont button and youll wind up punching a couple new holes in your belt. :D
listen with your eyes---its the only way to beleive what you hear...
on the PB, and glad to see your persistence paid off. Keep on fishin', the hook's gotta be in the water to get 'em. Hope you have many more successful trips.

Congrats on the PB Manhattan. Nothing replaces time spent on the water. You will learn more and more "new" places that holds fish and your catch rate will continue climbing higher and higher. Just dont eat too much of them or you'll have the same problem I do.:D
Congratulations. And nothing could be fina than Crappie on the china.
WP the other white meat.
