Thread: Weiss 16th-22nd

Heading down from KY.Anybody got any tips to share? Like what's this past cool spell gong to do to the crappie? I've heard the water temp is somewhere
between 50 and 55? Looks like we are going to be doing alot of trolling.We might try some night fishing under bridges.Does that work very good during a cold front? Thanks for any and all advice.Will post report good or bad upon return.

I think they have rain in the forecast for 4 or 5 days but weiss should really be getting hot by the times you,ve got planned.

I haven't been to Weiss in a while but if you have not been there before then stay in the channels and be careful. There are standing fences and all sort of prop grabbers in that lake. Having said that it is an outstanding crappie lake and where I caught my PB about ten years ago.
