started out crappie fishing but couldnt get a hit i saw some greencarp chasing shad so i fished for them about 2 hours caught 4 went back to crappie fishing but only caught one. ever body i talked to said they had caught only a few all day talked two differnt peole and both said they caught a good many early in the morning before the boats got on the lake i was fishing closes to t roys thast the next cove down from cane creek bigs problem is so many boats fishing the docks must been 50 peoples up in that one neck

STAY outta my cove! Nah just kidding, but my parents have a house in the very back of that cove (place with the big floating dock) and I spend a lot of time down there. The amount of sediment that has been deposited in the back of that cove over the past 3-5 years is amazing. It has ruined any fishing back there. We could catch crappie fairly decent when I was a kid, but I don't bother fishing back there anymore
