Anyone out there willing to let us know what are some of the more consistent color combo's for Crappie Jigs on Hartwell? I am having some success with Red/White/Chartruese. Any other colors I should be trying the next few weeks? Thanks for the help!Good Luck to All!
chartruese anything will work most places.... the one piece of advice that's worked for me more than any ON BRIGHT DAY BRIGHT COLOURS AND DIM DAYS DARK ONES. if you trolling I keep a recorded of what colors i start with and each rod 16 gets a different color until I set a pattern.... dont usually take long to get it down to 4 or 5 colors for that time of day.
If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D
dingy water= black chartreuse is my favorite
clear water= red/ white
big fish striker= red/white/yellow

Black/chartruesse slider jigs have been the trick for me on Hartwell. On a really bluebird sky, I throw on a white/blue slider and occasionally have some luck. Hope this helps.
