Thread: Murray this past Weekend (3/6)

Well went straight to the lake Friday afternoon after school. Fished from 2:30 till 5:30. Me and my girlfriend took her younger brother and sister with us. And man was that little girl our secret weapon. We all had a blast and ended up keeping 15 crappie and a bream. We were spider rigging and I started out setting the hook on the first four fish and letting her pull em in, but it wasn't long before she figured out what a bite looked like and started catching fish off her own poles out the back of the boat. She caught our biggest fish at 1 lb 13 oz and man I ain't never seen a little girl that proud.

We all caught some fish and had a great time on the water!

Saturday morning my dad and uncle ended up with 20 by 1 o'clock and I took over for the afternoon and had trouble getting on any fish. Did end up keeping 3. Sunday morning morning I hit the water again and ended up with 11 crappie and 3 WP

Final tally for the weekend was 46 Crappie, 3 WP, and 1 bream. Here's some of the fish from Saturday and Sunday. Big fish were 1.5 lb and 1.75 lb. Hopefully I can get some pictures from Friday on here soon.

It was nice meeting you also. Glad to see yall brought home some good fish. We ended up with about 65 for the weekend. I'm waiting on dad to send me the pics so that I can write a report. Gonna try the bass tonight.

Good catch crappie buster! Glad to hear of some people catchem up the river i will prob. try up there this weekend! I will look for you guys out there like to meet some of the people on the forum.
