After much ado I finally got my boat home last night. Couldn't get it in the water today (funeral) but will try tomorrow if the winds permit (30 mph gusts!!!) to start learning her technology.

Next up is rigging her for fishin'. Might be a while on the catchin'.

Beautiful boat Buddy I know you will enjoy it. Crappie fishing is not rocket science and you will be catching them in no time.

Boy that is a good looking boat. I have been impressed with reports on the Suzuki motors. My first encounter with one was when I got out on the dock to back my buddy's trailer in. There was a guy just going out and I was standing right by his boat and I could hear water running. It wasn't until he put the boat in reverse that I realized the motor was running. That thing was so quite and smooth all I heard was the water pump discharge.
I know you will enjoy it.

Nice boat RR! How long is that one? I saw one just like that awhile back for sale. I thought about it hard.

It is very quiet. I took it out today and a fellow helped me with launch and noted how quiet it was. Once while deploying the trolling motor I left it on and forgot to turn it off cause I didn't hear it - I'm half deaf tho.

It's 15' 10". Be advised that the Carolina Skiff reputation is correct; they can be wet. Today was roughly 17 mph winds and heading into the chop at cruising speed I got pretty wet.

Size: 53.9 KBI've got the sweetest ol' truck (2003 F150) and a 2013 SonTracker 18' fishing pontoon boat. It's awesome until the winds kick in, then I doubt if an iPilot anchor could hold her on spot.
Still love this boat, stable, room for stretching out my ol' self. Awesome on fuel consumption. And get this: IT WAS MY SWEET WIFE THAT PICKED THIS ONE!!! God has blessed me with more than my portion. I'm so grateful for that.

Finally got the the new rod holders installed, hopefully it will keep me from stepping on rod tips.
Bigdawgg said he'd keep the aluminum polished for me since he isn't fishing anymore
