Got up this morning and saw that the lake looked like glass.My lady said "there is nothing to do that is THIS important" and i was gone.Fished hard all morning and caught one small crappie (over a brush pile) and 3 small bass.I fished with minnows and tried depths from 2 feet to 15 feet.I talked to many anglers today and all said there were almost no fish .What is puzzling to me is they are not biting where i caught them on Tuesday.
Water temp varied from 56.4 to 58.2 depending on where i was.The wind was calm, air temp was upper 60's (in the morning),the water clarity appeared to be more stained and the level is around 2 ft below full pool.
However tomorrow being the last Friday in Lent before Good Friday the missus wants fish for dinner.I have been instructed to fish all day if necessary.As a good husband i will this time obey my wife..:D
