    Default wylie nightstalk 3/10/08

done a nightstalk on wylie last night with remus, uscfan13 and crappiedoll. it was fast approacing dark when we pulled out from the bb and dint get to far before the low oil warning started beeping. well all my oil was on the table at home where id been using it for chain oil for the saw sooooo, we had to turn around and run to the store for some oil before we could go to our spot for the night. i had plenty of oil, but none in the boat . the wind was sorta rough to start with, gettin up not long after we set up and becoming a major aggravation. soon after we got all our lines set out a anchor turned loose and we had a unholy mess with most all the lines on one side of the boat gettin tangled and wrapped. after we got that mess straightend out and resettin the lines, we settled down and started catching fish. the bite was fairly steady with a lot of big perch and some slabby crappie taking the last rites on our minnows. i think kim had the hottest seat on the boat and a good bit of the time all we could do was watch and wish :D. i threatend to do a seat roation but she wouldnt have nothing to do with that as it was her first nightstalk since last spring. we fished till midnight and come in. ill get a photo later today when we clean em. remus wanted the fish for a upcoming fry hes having so these crappie and perch corpuses are headin to the hot pnut oil soon :D. steveW was down there and he give us some nice slabs and a thug for the fry when he left. ot was out there lifting em on a regular basis, like ot usually does. there was a good bit of jackjawing going on tween the boats and a good time was had by all. all we needed was some popcorn to make it a good show :D we dint take the time to count any fish as we was all in a hurry to get to some heat somewhere. we are planning on another nightstalk soon to add to the ones we got last night as theres gonna be a lot of folks at the fry.

I enjoyed visiting with you all last night. I will almost surely be at it again tonight. I'll save my fish for anyone needing a few more for the fryer.
