    Default Greenwood this weekend

Got up Sat AM and saw that it was whitecapping in the small little cove that my parents house is in. I have never seen that before. So, me and my dad decided not to go. Went back to sleep for about thirty minutes, woke up didn't hear the wind so, took a look, not quite whitecapping, off we went at 8AM. Hugged the side of a cove out of the wind best we could and started catching fish!!!!! Fished until 11 and had 17 nice fish. Went back out at 4 fished til dark and ended up with total of 60 for the day!!! Man, were we surprised. For some reason with the fish biting, the wind was not near as bad:D Fished water 10-12 ft deep caught fish about half-way down. Trolling at 0.6 Went back Sunday afternoon in between church from 2:30-5 and caught 22 in the same water conditions. Water temp both days was 56. Best weekend we have had in a long time. I was thinking about ya'll at Clarks Hill. I am glad we decided to skip that one and stay on a lake that we halfway know. Nice show crappie tracker!!!! I am sure you learned a lot crappie gobbler. Good Luck.

Thanks Manhattan. Don't worry I think the bite will be getting a lot better very soon. When I first started fishing Greenwood, 5 crappie would have been a great day for me.
