Anyone know if Hurricane Creek landing is open? Its in the six and twenty creek near Clemson Blvd behind Charlie T's.
I doubt it

More than likely you will have to put in at Asbury and come up.
Heard that some guys were bypassing the blockade on Hurricane with jon boats and 4 wheel drive, but I don't care to try.

I checked the corp website list and Hurricane isnt listed at all, open or closed. If it was blockaded, it cant have come up enough to open it yet. Thanks
asbury is open and in good shape
Life is an adventure, It's not the destination we reach thats most rewarding, Its the journey along the way
I don't think it's blockaded, because of the usability of the ramp. I think Anderson Co. is letting that developer store their trash and construction debris in the parking lot. I launched at Asbury the other day and fished up the creek and when I went by Hurricane it looked like a log yard in the parking lot. I guess the county will let you do what you want if you know the right people$$$$
I was lookin for stripers that day and markin brush stickin outta the water on the GPS. I did better findin beds than stripers, but now the water should be up over the tops of some of those beds, I might try to get out later this week and check em out. Have you tried up there lately?
I havnt been on Hartwell since last fall. 15 minutes to Hurricane for me, 25 plus to Asbury. I can be on Russell in 35. Would be nice to be able to get back on the water quick, for after work outings.
I know the feeling, I am about 8 minutes from Hurricane or Brown Rd. and about 15 to asbury. It stinks to have to drive the additional time! Hopefully the water will keep comin up!
