Thread: Hope this ain't happen to you

Im a firefighter for abbeville county and always have my radios on open channel. While i was fishing the tones went off, they needed extrication units at Jim Rampey boat ramp for a man with his hand stuck in a boat motor.

i just thought that i had heard everything. but it seems like on hear you can always hear something new and unusual.

Man how would you get in that position?

There was someone on the main board talking about his boat not starting so his partner was holding the gear up that engaged the flywheel and then he hit the starter. Practically took off a finger I believe. Same guys maybe?!?

Im not sure if that is the same this guy had his whole hand in there and they had to fly him to greenville.... im not sure i could talk to some guys and find out what happened.
