Thread: anybody fish today?

with the hurricane winds forecasted for today, decided to work on the boat...installed new gas line (past due old one was 6 years old)...painted floor of boat w/ non-skid paint....cleaned out gas tank, refilled & added stabilizer...might as well do something productive when it's too miserable to fish, huh?

Too windy for me. Instead I went to town and put gas in my truck and put gas for boat in two 5-gal cans. Bad thing is I didnt fill ANYTHING up and still spent over $50. After that I was so bummed out I didnt do anything else but lay on the couch all day. Maybe I'll be over the gas-price shock tomorrow.

I actually saw people fishing Big Allison today. That creek is not bad in the wind.

i am going to be repainting my boat this week too and was wondering what kind of paint you used. where did you by it from and what was the brand name. does it come in a can or do you have to brush it on? thx burdawg

the spray paint I used came from a company called PAI but I think Lowes' and Home depot carry it...it comes in flat black and gray I think... I sprayed mine w/ the black and painted olive green over it.
