Thread: Pix From Lake Russell 3/06

me & Pigz went to Russell yesterday, fished hard all day...caught 15 nice 'uns and 4 largemouth bass (trash fish)...they liked it slow, real slow...hope the pix do 'em justice....Pigz was bearing down on 'em early but we couldn't ever get a flurry going. It was still worth the sunburn and taking a vacation day to catch what we did...and fish w/ someone who enjoys it as much as I do.

Did a whole lot better than i did, I put in at smith magee fished up to the park not even a bite , I might be crazy , but i'm thinkin about goin tonight.

Those look like good quality fish there burdawg. 15 of them babies makes a fine mess of fillets. Also, finding a fishing mate that can find the time to enjoy fishing the same way you like it is hard to find. These days people just cannot find the time from work, home, or thoer obligations to enjoy themselves like we used to be able to do. Congrats to you guys for catching those slabs and getting out there just enjoying the great outdoors.
