thought it was time to try the Hill so I took off to the landing I always use, guess what, no water. After 20 more miles I found that the landing on 378 was open. Talked to a some people they said the fish was not doing much. When I put in at 10:00 the water was 52 and bad stained to muddy. Tried long line trolling for two hours, no bits. Set up and spider rigged, caught four in around one hour. The water by this time had got up to 56.5 so I decided to try pushing. Rigged all 8 rods with two minnows and 1/2 oz wights and started trolling at .06 mph working 12' to 16' water, guess what? 35 total with my big fish at 2 1/2 pounds. Took home 15 all over 1 pound. Goes to show not to give up. You have to find what the fish want. All my lines was set to 13' deep and moving at .06 I figure the bait was running at 8 to 10'. It was a long trip but what a day.

Good job, Stump Hunter! I wish I would have took my tight line rods, saturday. Maybe I could have kept the bait in front on them in the wind. Thanks for the lesson.![]()
