well it wasnt great, but i did catch 24 crappie and 12 white perch before the moon popped out and spoiled my fun, wish it was a rodeo night , my first crappie was a monster well over 2lb i will weigh it tomorow and try to post a pic. the bait was easy to find i set up in 28' of water right on the ledge, front of the boat in 10', back in 28', so i was on the edge, caught 10 crappie in less than 10 min then it slowed a little but the action was constant and then the moon came out and the white perch started. all in all a good night but i cant wait for the great nights to start the water was around 72 everywhere,water level was ok little to no difference, color was good, well i am going to go to bed it is 3 am . bowlerman (jeff)

same thing happened to me last night. i was catchin em steady until that orange moon poped over the tree tops. that ended that fun. i must of had bout 12 or so the first hour and barly scraped off a limit after that.
