anybody heard of or done anything with the wateree striper since all this cooling rain?
listen with your eyes---its the only way to beleive what you hear...
Going to be on vac. in about a week might head down and try them a time or two while I'm off. Son wants to deer hunt so I will have to be back in afternoon to take him. Don't like to go down there without bait. Last I heard the bait men had Quit due to the rouges geting 6 or 8 doz and paying for 3. I can probably catch bait at the lake but I would rather pay $20 for bait and start fishing as soon as I get there.
Only seen a few crappie fisherman tonight.
Rocks still not up on my end Rango.
Crappie big as bears ,but no stripers or strippers either, even went to the Flamigo looking.
JMG,bait was real easy last saturday afternoon around wateree creek.Mostly threadfins.
HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD
Any body put in at Colonel cr. landing lately? Hate to put in at Dutchman and run all the way down to Colonel.
Hey JMG , trust me , you wont have any trouble finding bait. As a matter of fact , I caught most of what I needed off the dock at Wateree creek saturday afternoon. And it didn't take long , maybe four throws...Bait was busting everywhere accross the whole creek.Originally Posted by JMG
