Hey FishnLine. I just made a post to you on the GA board. Saw where you said you were on Russell and wanted to know if anyone did any better than I did. Like I said it was tough for me.
I put in Sat. afternoon at Rampey. Fished the creek to the west between Rampey Park and Felkel Landing. I usually do pretty good there.
How was your fishing?

The creek your talking about, is that above Rampey or between Felkel and Rampey?
I started out going hunting, but after looking in a few spots with no sign, I said the heck with it and went fishing. I'm not much of a day fisher, but I fished around timber, blow downs, and bridge pilings and didn't catch a fish. I talked to a guy under the bridge fishing with minnows and he said he had only caught one. Nice day to be on the water though.

I fished the Allen Creek area Sunday with hardly any luck. 3- bass (only one with any size) 1-bream 1-cat (at least I think thats what it was) broke my line all on minnows no crappie for me
Might just try for cats next weekend. My brother had one break his line last weekend in the same area. It was a fun fight for about 45 seconds on ultralight tackle.

I think they probably are too. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, we can have some decent fishing.

sounds like the same thing we have on Lanier, water is 69 as of sunday. we did well fishing brush in 12 feet of water. If you weren't a foot of the bottom you weren't getting bit. only a few at or over a pound. But it wont be long till the big uns show up in better numbers

Our water is still around 74. We are having some cool nights, but these days of 80 plus aren't helping things much. I hope this isn't the way winter is going to go.
