Thread: Development on Wateree

Just heard that there was going to be a large development on the east side of Wateree. Large lots (10 acres minimum). Just wondering if anyone has any information on it.

Yes going to be on the other side of lake across from State Park.10 to 15 acre lots ,500,000 to 2 millon dollar homes.They are targeting northern rich people to come down here for vacation homes.Sorry but they want be catching any walleyes or northern pikes down here.

The charlotte paper had the article on wednesday titled where the rich can go to play.70 lots,3500 acres,10 to 50 acres,1/2 to 2 million dollars.the picture in the paper of the lake and shoreline looked like from wateree creek on uplake close to a mile 97 side.

I'm in Eastern N.C.. We are getting them out the wazoo here now. Developers and real estate agents trying to sell anything with water front or farm land. CF
