Thread: wylie 4/10/07

after being contacted by therock (from the washington board) several days ago who said she was gonna be in columbia on business that shed like to take me up on last years offer to come back and fish with us on another nightstalk, me and ot took her and her 10 year old daughter to crowders creek last night. the bite was fairly steady, slowing towards the end, when the wind got up making us pull anchors about 11:30 and haulin buggy in across some rough water to call it a night. we wound up with 26 crappie, the largest liking one oz being a two pounder and 35 perch. seen bowlerman doing some trolling and pete and fishfinder8 was anchored about 100 yds up from us. it was a good night for fishing, with calm winds and not too much chill in the air till the end when the wind got up pretty strong. we met up with pete and fishfinder at the landing and i got a photo of em ill attach to petes post when he makes it on their trip. dint make a group photo of the fish but heres one of ot, doreen and her daughter with a few of the fish we caught

congrats on the catch ladies, seems like when ya put 2 purty ladies on the boat the fish get bigger.......a trip from washington to fish aboard the beast makes ya enjoy the south much more too

Nice gesture there Rango. It looks like all had a great time. From your crappie stalking reports (or rather, the lack of ) I thought you had all but gave up on night stalking. Glad to see ya back in the saddle again! :D

Ive been sorta slack on my nightstalking this year. a lot of nights i wanna go but just cant seem to get myself in gear.

I've figured it out.. why you haven't been catching fish nightstalking like in the past. It's not lack of fish or wind or bait but, when I joined the board, most all of your pictures had one or more ladys in it with the crew on any given night and now all i see is ruff-neck fella's. Then you take two lady's and whamm your back on the fish. :D

Might need to study on that; if I take one of my girls with me I do a lot better than with someone else,(fella's) :D funny how thing work.
