Went today and fished from 10:00 till around 5:00 caught approx 20-25.Alot were chips, but brought home a couple of goodins for dinner.
Water temp ranged from 60- 62, all fish were caught in approx 16ft of water fishin about 12-14', caught them on a mix of jigs and small minnows. With minnows seeming to be the preffered taste of the day. All fish were caught at the mouth of Twin rivers, tried a few other spots and marked fish but there were no takers, just some ole white perch.
Here is a couple of pics of the biggest 2, scales said 1 was 3/4 pound and the other just a touch over a pound.

Glad to hear you caught a few. Had decent luck Sat. AM considering conditions. Do you normally catch fish in that area this time of year and into the warmer weather?? I usually don't fish much in May and June and just wondered where the fish are that time of year. I have really enjoyed fishing that part of the lake this year. Seems to be more and better fish on that end of the lake. Were you out there last Sat??
We didnt get to fish last Sat. thats why we took off today,my boy had 1 more day out on Spring Break so we took off. Usually by this time of year we are catching them by shooting docks all over the lake, but I think with this last cold snap it kinda pushed them back out some. Starting in May and going through the whole summer months we nitestalk and usually fish the Tressel by the Shrine Club and the 221 Bridge, and usually have real good success. If we dont get on them there we will venture up to the Seaboard Tressell and some decent brushpiles up near Skippers(Mayberry Diner).Hope this help, maybee we cant meet up 1 nite and do some nitestalking together.
We fish the same area in a old bass tracker. Will look for you in the coming months. David
