Just wondering if anyone is gonna give Wateree a try tommorow,me and crappie snapper are gonna give it try again, fish may not cooperate but have to go when we can, looks like the wind is gone lay down a little hopefully, maybe the bite will pick back up from the cold front coming thru,we will launch from wateree creek around daylight and try some trolling for stripers as well as bottom fishing and drifting, and prolly casting too, something got hit something,if not it still beats work, anyone else got any reports or techniques that has worked for them recently, will post a report tommorow pm on our results hopefully with pics too

i remember about 25 years ago we was having a deer drive on that island behind you. we had two shooters and about a half dozen drivers. one of the shooters left his stand and went to the upper end, about 50 yards from his stand hoping to get a shot as the deer hit the water. a half dozen deer got up and went up the middle of the island, right past the first shooter. he held his fire till the deer got by then openend up with a shotgun. what he dint know was the other shooter had left his stand and was now directly in the line of fire. the understanding was the shooters would let the deer go by, then shoot away from the drivers, which is what the shooter done. he got two deer and the other shooter, who took a buckshot through the thigh missing bone and arteries. it was a clean pass through.
