Thread: Catawba last night

Lucky and I got set up at 8pm and wind was rough all night. We have a total of 26 crappie,29 white perch and 1 catfish. Rango, can you take a picture of my slabs tomorrow? I'll be home around 5pm. I plan on going back again.

ot i gotta admit that last night when i went outside right after dark i chuckled when i seen the trees shaking harder than a hula dancers grass skirt. I knew you was out there somewhere and you was probably catching fish with one hand while holding on the boat with the other.

I got about 4 dz minnows in the tank and I figured it would be a good nite just ahead of the cold snap. That wind tho...just couldn't bring myself to brave it. Wrong direction for me too.

OT--it's a thin line between dedicated and crazy

dedication is what I'd call it, cause most all of us folks is already crazy... huh crazy dedication to fish--go figure, I just hope the wind don't blow tomorrow I'm hoping to go trolling with them girls of mine. (murray)

I had planed on taking my wife tomorrow since she & I both are off & the kids have school BUT getting her out there when its below 80 degrees is a task in its self !!,,,,, My retired Uncle has been doing pretty good this week as well as last week , mosty in the middle to the backs of creeks . We will prolly stay around the house & work on the all too famous honey doo list BUT I cant be too hard on her she did let me buy myself a dog that I have wanted for a few years ..
