    Black nose crappie isn't a different species. It's a black crappie with a pigment mutation. Just like an albino or piebald deer.

    Those are whites for sure. See the vertical stripes. Black scales from top of back down to the belly. You caught blue gills and whites and not shells and blacks but it don't matter very nice catch. Glad y'all had a good day and got to fish.

    here is one stranger then that GBM I caught a black nose in a water shed lake I fish from time to time
    had never heard of black nose till bigdawgg talked about it just a short time before I caught that one
