First fish on the new boat. Went way up Cane Creek where the water was muddy. New boat so no rod holders yet, no front sonar yet and can’t see the back one. So basically just drifting with the wind. Caught one crappie and three spots. Had a ton of bites just had trouble setting the hook on the bobber. I’m really out of practice. It been a couple of years. Everything was caught in 5-6 foot of water.

That water temp is right for the girls to be moving shallow. Keep fishing those waters under 20’ and more like the 10’ and less. That muddy water will warm fast in the day and the Crappie will be running the different depths. A limit of those Crappie will be a good catch any day. Thanks for the Keowee report.

Great catch. Thanks for sharing. Like stumphunter said, the big girls ought to be moving in those shallow areas soon!
